The room offered a fantastic view of the garden, which really brightened my stay. Spacious layout provided plenty of room to unpack, making it feel like home. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, a huge plus for a restful night. However, I had some issues with the bathroom. the shower water pressure left much to be desired. Hot water availability was frustrating too, as it didn’t last long before requiring a lengthy wait to heat back up. I also noticed several thin, worn towels that felt outdated. The included buffet breakfast had a decent variety, yet the food quality was mediocre at best and could be improved for a better start to the day.

The breakfast offered a good variety for guests.
During my stay, I encountered a frustrating lack of hot water in the shower, which made the experience uncomfortable. Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired, particularly with a stinky shower curtain that was off-putting. Finally, the overall condition of the room felt dated, diminishing the relaxation I was hoping for during my visit.

My family and I stayed for a night while exploring nearby attractions such as Lake Ruataniwha and Kaki Visitor Hide. The included buffet breakfast had some decent options, and being close to these major sights was a plus. However, I found the bathroom amenities lacking, as we had issues with hot water and a stinky shower curtain. Overall, it was a convenient stop, but improvements in room comfort and cleanliness would enhance the experience.

8/10
That room was plenty spacious, and the view from the balcony brought a smile to my face. Had a real cozy feel, and the staff treated us like family. I could use some more hot water in the shower, though. Nothing worse when you need a good rinse after a long day!

missingWrote a review on 04 Junfriendly staffspacious roomdated decorlimited amenitiespoor water pressure
The staff were notably friendly, making check-in a pleasant experience. While the room was spacious with good luggage space, it suffered from dated decor and minimal amenities, like missing towel rails and limited power outlets. The buffet dinner offered a decent selection, including cured meats, which were enjoyable, but the overall dining experience could be improved. Water pressure was disappointing, impacting comfort during my stay.
